One Great City Brewing Co.

OGC Brewing Co. is a brewery and tap-house rooted in the city of Winnipeg. The company name is a crafty-nod to this town’s beloved “Welcome to Winnipeg: One Great City!” signs that stood from 1990 to 2008. Years later, this nostalgic tagline shouts “Go Winnipeg” by living in folklore amongst it’s locals and beer enthusiasts across the prairies.

Throughout 2024, we worked closely with the founders to build a new identity that taps into that Winnipeg charm. The job included a custom logo kit, iconography, colour-stories, type design and messaging. Along with the reimagining of their package system; the brand language sends a direct message celebrating the flavours that makes Winnipeg a gripping place to be.
